MADISON, Ill. (First Alert 4) - Officials are investigating a fire at Worldwide Technology Raceway early Monday morning. The fire was reported around 3 a.m. at 500 Madison Road. Crews on scene found a wooden ramp to a trailer on fire. The fire extended into the building, and no injuries have been reported.

The second race in the opening round of the 2025 NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs is set for Sunday afternoon, as tensions will surely rise in the Enjoy Illinois 300 at World Wide Technology Raceway.

Austin Cindric, driver of the No. 2 Freightliner Ford Mustang Dark Horse, is the defending winner of this weekend’s race and comes off a 12th-place finish last weekend at Darlington Raceway. The Team Penske driver is currently ninth in the standings,
