President Donald Trump on Saturday posted what appeared to be an AI-created image of himself in front of the Chicago skyline with helicopters, flames and the phrase “Chipocalypse Now.”

Organizers are canceling many Chicago-area celebrations tied to Mexico’s Independence Day on Sept. 16, fearing they could draw the attention of President Trump’s immigration crackdown.

Illinois Governor and Democrat JB Pritzker denounced the remarks, calling Trump a "wannabe dictator" in a post on X.
